Abstract:		 Archaeological recording took place in May 2014 in order to discharge conditions attached to planning permission for the building of eight dwellings on land to the rear of Trenwith House, St Ives. Although place-name evidence indicated potential for development ground works to uncover medieval settlement remains, only relatively features were exposed by the topsoil strip. These included the remains of a garden wall, tree throws associated with a 19th century orchard and a modern fire pit and land drains.
