Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	An archaeological observation, investigation and recording at the Northampton Innovation Centre, Green Street, Northampton was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology between November-December 2013. The works observed five test pits spread across the development area; four were excavated by Kier Construction to check for obstructions, and the largest was excavated over the footprint of the lift pit to the maximum depth of construction. The ground was heavily disturbed by post-medieval earthmoving and landscaping and as a result of this no archaeological remains have survived in any of the locations examined
