Abstract:		 A watching brief was kept on 1 September 2015 during the excavation of a trench to accommodate a new underground power line to a refurbished domestic residence at Dun Mhuilig, near the shore of Bagh Mhuilig, Ardfern. The trench ran close to a cross base (NM70SE 22) and a cup-marked rock (NM70SE 25) although nothing of archaeological significance was encountered in the trench.
