Abstract: |
A standing building survey was undertaken prior to the demolition of a 19th-century steading. The buildings comprised an L-shaped steading with a later Dutch barn, a small water mill and a farmhouse. No internal details survived in the steading or mill. The farmhouse was of unusual design with a central bay flanked by two unequal wings and having very narrow linking passages. |
