Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out at Station Hill, Cookham, Berkshire. Three trenches were excavated. The evaluation demonstrated that the natural gravel was overlain by a thick layer of hillwash, sealed by subsoil and topsoil. No archaeological features of note were recorded, other than a possible glacial feature at the base of the sequence. |
