Abstract: |
This report describes the results of an archaeological trial trench evaluation carried out by Pre-Construct Archaeology on land south and west of Keswick, Station Road, Manea, Cambridgeshire (NGR TL 4789 8995) on the 8th May 2017. The archaeological work was commissioned by Buckles Solicitors LLP in response to a planning condition attached to the construction of four residential dwellings with associated access and landscaping. The aim of the work was to characterise the archaeological potential of the proposed development area. Due to a number of large trees at the back of the plot, only two of the three trenches were able to be excavated. No archaeological features were present in either. |
