Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 3 hectares of grassland. No features of archaeological origin have been identified, despite the potential for medieval remains. Evidence of ridge and furrow suggests the site has an agricultural past, and would have been used for agricultural purposes in the medieval period. The remaining features are natural or modern in origin. The modern features include a service trench, scattered magnetic debris, roads and linear anomalies associated with the caravan park, and magnetic disturbance from nearby ferrous objects. |
