Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 6.8 hectares of grassland. The survey has identified a number of probable archaeological anomalies comprising of former field boundaries, ridge and furrow cultivation and a former clay pit. A single possible archaeological anomaly has been identified; however it is not possible to determine its origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of modern origin, relating to underground services, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects and fencing. |
