Abstract: |
Between 3rd and 24th May 2017, Oxford Archaeology East carried out an archaeological evaluation outside of Yaxley, Suffolk (TM 1255 7461). This work was carried out in advance of the potential construction of a Power Station; The Progress Power Project. The evaluation revealed a potential burnt mound, which may be of prehistoric origin. Several Romano-British features, including ditches and pits, were found, along with features of 11th to 12th century date. |
