Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology during groundworks associated with the development of 4 houses and 3 flats at 5 Wyndham Road, Salisbury, Wilshire. A section of post-medieval wall along with further evidence for water management in the city centre, in the form of chalk dumps, was observed. A single Charles II farthing dating to 1677 was recovered from the spoil heap. |
