Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 1.2 hectares of grassland. A former field boundary and evidence of agricultural activity in the form of ploughing support the results of the search of PastScape, however there is no evidence of prehistoric or Roman activity on the site. A linear anomaly, indicative of a former cut feature, may be of archaeological origin however, it may also be related to modern drainage. The remaining features include a service, such as pipe or cable, and magnetic disturbance caused by nearby ferrous objects. |
