Abstract: |
The site is currently used as a garden centre and is located close to the remains of a Roman villa. There is therefore potential for unrecorded Roman archaeology below the ground. There is one designated heritage asset within the development site, which includes levelled ridge and furrow and there may be remains of this beneath the surface. There is low potential for prehistoric remains. As a result, an archaeological evaluation excavation was been recommended. |
