Abstract: |
Headland Archaeology undertook a program of works during the construction of facilities for the Royal Mail Sorting Office and Jewsons as part of the construction of Hereford Relief Road. The site identified the location with one of the three wharves for the Gloucester to Hereford Canal as well as a series of stratified post-medieval made ground deposits across the site from multiple phases of demolition and levelling. |
