Abstract: |
An archaeological recording action was undertaken on a pipeline from the banks of the River Kennet to the east of Chamberhouse Farm. A complex series of palaeohydrological deposits on the floor of the Kennet Valley were overlain by a series of early Roman occupation deposits that were abandoned by the end of the 3rd century AD. Subsequently, medieval and post-medieval drainage ditches were dug. A short publication report will be prepared. |
