Abstract:		 This report presents the results of a programme of additional trenching and excavation carried out by Archaeology South-East (ASE) at the proposed 'sports pitch' development (Stage 5), 'Wickhurst Green', Broadbridge Heath, West Sussex. The archaeological activity encountered, comprised settlement, agricultural and funerary activity (largely of Iron Age and Romano-British date) and was, on the whole, consistent with the findings of earlier work. Exceptions to this rule is the important discovery of possible Late Iron Age/Early Romano-British iron working activity within 'Roundhouse 9'. The remains of this activity are yet to receive specialist assessment, however, if the remains do indeed represent iron working within a structure the results may be of regional/national significance. This report is written and structured so as to conform to the required standards for post-excavation analysis work. The site has the potential to address the original research aims and to calculate the significance of the findings. Together these elements have been drawn together to produce a new research agenda and task list suggesting what further work is needed in order to enable suitable dissemination of the findings by final publication.
