Abstract:		 In October 2017, Archaeological Solutions Ltd (AS) carried out a trial trench evaluation at Partridges, Farnham Road, Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, in compliance with a planning condition attached to approval for the construction of five detached dwellings. The evaluation revealed undated features: two pits and a possible pit or natural feature. No residual finds were present. The site stratigraphy appeared intact so archaeological features, had they been present, would likely have been preserved.
