Abstract:		 MOLA Northampton, commissioned by CgMs Consulting, carried out an archaeological trial trench evaluation on land at Highfields Road, Caldecote, Cambridgeshire prior to the proposed development of the site. Twenty one trenches were excavated. Archaeological features were largely limited to the northern corner of the development area and comprised linear and curvilinear ditches dated to the late Iron Age period. Furrows indicative of ridge and furrow cultivation were present in several of the excavated trenches; material recovered from one of the furrows has been dated to the post-medieval period.
