Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Pre-Construct Archaeology Limited on land at Hunts Wharf, Leaside Road, Hackney, London, E5 9LU. The fieldwork was undertaken between 3rd and 4th of July 2017 for Restoration Hunts Wharf Ltd. One evaluation trench was excavated on the site. Natural alluvium was encountered in the trench at between 5.95m OD and 5.42m OD. Above the alluvium a post-medieval sub-soil was noted. This in turn was capped by modern made-ground and the remains of foundations from a previous 20th century building.
