Abstract: |
Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Parsons Brinckerhoff, on behalf of Devon County Council, to undertake a programme of archaeological survey prior to the construction if the Exeter Science Park. The survey consisted of a detailed gradiometer survey over 9.8 hectares using a Bartington Grad601-2 dual fluxgate gradiometer. The survey identified a number of responses thought to be of archaeological origin. including two irregular anomalies that have been interpreted as possible structural features. There are also several linear anomalies which seem to indicate two seperate phases of field boundaries. |
