Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	A watching brief was carried out by CFA Archaeology Ltd within the Scheduled Monument of Skipness Castle, Kintyre, Argyll and Bute. Three holes were excavated by hand for the insertion of strainer posts for a new fence line. The holes all contained a single context of topsoil indicative of modern landscaping. No features, deposits or artefacts of archaeological significance were identified.
