Abstract:		 In May 2017 an archaeological evaluation was carried out at Grange Farm Cottages, Coventry Road, Cawston, Rugby, Warwickshire prior to the construction of up to 10 dwellings and new access. The trenches revealed modern dumping had taken place at the northwest end of the site, whilst towards the southeast end, two pits were excavated; one of which contained 12th century pottery. Residual 12th-13th century pottery was also found in the sub-soil.
