Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 3.3 hectares of grassland. The survey has identified a prehistoric barrow, with possible mortuary enclosure, as well as four possible SFBs. However it is not clear whether these are SFBs or relate to natural pitting in the area. Areas of modern ploughing indicate that the area has a recent agricultural past. The remaining anomalies are natural or modern in origin, relating to underground services, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects, and fencing. |
