Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken upon two areas of the development site - the main site and the WPD site. Within the main site, the watching brief predominantly revealed a substantial sequence of made ground deposits, include recent pre-development ground build up on the top. The top of an alluvial deposit was encountered within the northern areas of the site, from which environmental samples were taken. Predominantly made ground deposits were noted in the WPD site. The only deposits of interest were possibly redeposited 19th / 20th material which contained some residual post-medieval pot |
