Abstract: |
Rapid survey to assess potential of woodland to contain well-preserved archaeological features. Features were mapped using a hand-held GPS. The wood was walked in transects aligned roughly N-S and approximately 50m apart. The survey is only a sample of the woodland and should not be taken as exhaustive. It is intended to record the type of features present, their state of preservation and their relationships to other features within the woodland. |
