Abstract: |
Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Carillion Civil Engineering to undertake a programme of historic building record and intermittent watching briefs on the North Quay of Hayle Harbour situated in Hayle, Cornwall. This work was carried out as part of a programme of archaeological investigation and mitigation relating to the ING RED UK Hayle Harbour) Limited scheme to regenerate the harbour area of Hayle. Buildings and other historic and archaeological components of the North Quay were either going to be demolished or retained depending on their importance to the historical background of Hayle. |
