Abstract: |
Archaeological Desk Based Assessment for Land at Bleadon Level, Bleadon, North Somerset occupies a total of 53 ha (just over 130 acres) and lies in a loop of the River Axe, flowing from east to west to discharge into the Severn Estuary near Uphill. The site consists of undeveloped farmland and its entire area has been ploughed in recent years. There area no buildings or structures of any kind currently occupying the site. The study area is considered to offer a low to moderate potential for the survival of buried archaeologically significant deposits and structures. |
