Abstract:		 NM 82802 05674 to NR 86080 88993; NR 85386 92345 to NR 85219 92237 The excavation of a series of trenches for pole replacements on overhead power lines and the installation of earth cables were monitored between 28 August 2017 and 11 June 2018 over a wide area encompassing the Kilmartin and Kilmichael valleys. A total of 20 poles were changed and 18 trenches for spark trenches were dug over a wide area between NM 82802 05674 on the north and NR 86080 88993 on the south. In addition, a trench for an underground cable to an EE mast was excavated between NR 85386 92345 and NR 85219 92237. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered in any of the trenches.
