Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 9.5 hectares of grassland. The survey has identified an area of settlement, likely Roman, along with a number of possible archaeological anomalies; however their origin cannot be determined with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are all natural or modern in origin, relating to agricultural activity, an underground service, land drains, track ways, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects and fencing. |
