Abstract: |
Addyman Archaeology undertook a programme of trial trenching at land south of No 33, Stannington Station Road, Stannington, Northumberland NE61 6DX, from 1st to 3rd August, 2018, in advance of proposed development of the site for new housing. The five trenches excavated across the site revealed only agricultural features, ceramic horseshoe field drains, plough strikes and furrows, along with a few modern pits and a posthole. |
