Abstract:		 A Heritage Impact Assessment and Site Visit at Acton Bank Farm, 13 Brockton, Lydbury North, Shropshire SY7 8BA was undertaken in association with a proposal to convert to five dwellings with pedestrian and vehicular access and installation of a package treatment plant. The proposed development affects five barns within the historic farmstead at Acton Bank Farm which lies within the historic nucleated settlement of Brockton village. The impact on these barns is direct and although considered moderate to high, the potential preservation of the buildings as a result of the proposal offsets some of the impact.
