Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was carried out by CFA Archaeology on land at Owlers Farm, Morley, West Yorkshire during January 2016. Fourteen trenches were excavated across the site with remains related to 19th century mining activities in the area recorded during the investigation. These included large pits, some filled with waste material from fires/burning activities, ditches and gullies.
