Abstract:		 Sixth phase of archaeological evaluation undertaken at Sheriffside cropmark enclosure, The trench was located to the north-east of both Trench 1 and Trench 6 and intended to explore a potential enclosure entrance identified by geophysical survey in 2016. The south-west corner of the site had survived the earlier plough attrition and revealed an extensive tightly packed cobbled or surface, some pit features, post-holes, two possible palisades and a sunken feature, possibly the edge of the scooped settlement identified in Trenches 1 and 6 (2016).
