Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation undertaken pre-determination of a planning application for a residential development. The archaeological work comprised 7 evaluation trenches that were sited within areas of individual building building plots. Post-medieval structural elements were exposed within the southern part of the site associated with farm outbuildings of Netherton Blue House Farm. A substantial feature recorded at the north-eastern part of the site is presumed to be post-medieval the function of which was not determined. Modern deposits and features were recorded across the site that represent the demolition and subsequent levelling activity at the site. |
