Abstract: |
A total of nine trenches were excavated across three fields totalling 3.6ha. The trenches were targeted on anomalies previously identified during a geophysical survey of the site. An area of burnt material and rubble identified in two trenches are thought to date to the 1830-50s and relate to the construction of the Great Western Railway. Two ditches in other trenches were identified as Victorian. No other features were identified. |
