Abstract:		 Archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken by South West Archaeology Ltd. (SWARCH) during the excavation of a cable trench to connect a wind turbine on land at Nethercott Farm to a substation on land to the east of Blagdon Manor. The monitoring was carried out intermittently The cable trench was approximately 2.4km long and 0.60m wide, approximately 1.4km of the trench followed the existing ditch along the roadside verge. Two ditches associated with existing and historic field boundaries were present. No finds were recovered.
