Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 0.7 hectares of arable farmland. No features of probable or possible archaeological origin have been identified, though medieval ridge and furrow and evidence of modern ploughing on the site indicate a largely agricultural past. The remaining features are modern in origin, including an underground service, magnetic debris, magnetic disturbance from nearby ferrous metal objects and magnetic spikes that are likely to be modern rubbish. |
