Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 8.4 hectares of agricultural land. A small number of features of archaeological origin have been identified predominantly in the south east of the survey area. These include a group of cut features indicating the presence of part of a possible enclosure and pitting. A small, isolated linear feature and a former field boundary (visible on historic mapping dating from 1883) are also present close to the northern extent of the survey area. Other modern and natural features have also been identified including magnetic disturbance, magnetic debris and spikes, utilities, and agriculture. |
