Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 2 hectares of grassland. No features of probable archaeological origin have been identified, however a number of linear anomalies and possible pits have been detected. These mainly provide magnetically weak anomalies with uncertain origin. They may be agricultural or may relate to nearby Romano- British settlement activity. The remaining features are modern and include disturbance from nearby fencing and magnetic spikes which are likely to be modern rubbish. |
