Abstract:		 A standing building survey was required for a small late 19th-century cottage prior to its demolition and replacement by a new dwelling house. This was a small rubble walled building with a corrugated iron roof; a layer of turves from an earlier roof survived below the corrugated iron. The interior was in poor condition but a box bed recess survived in the kitchen and the swey and chains were still in the hearth.
