Abstract:		 A watching brief during building work at 21 Clifton Green in 2005-6 revealed evidence for medieval and post-medieval activity, but no clear evidence of occupation preceding the current building. Although the line of Roman Road 7 was thought to run through this site, no sign of the road or any related activity was found. [Au(abr)]
