Abstract:		 Trent and Peak Archaeology was contracted by Western Power Distribution to conduct a watching brief on intrusive ground works at Thurvaston Farm, Thurvaston, Derbyshire.The area of the ground works lay partially within the boundary of a Scheduled Monument (No. 310449) which has been identified as a shrunken medieval village containing a moated enclosure suggesting the site of a manor house.
