Abstract: |
An archaeological walk-over survey and desk-based assessment was undertaken of an area known as Brown Moor Heights, near Selkirk in Roxburghshire, in advance of a proposed woodland creation scheme. The DBA identified a total of eight possible sites within the boundary of the development, four of which were identified during the walk-over survey, with a further three recorded, making a total of seven identified sites. The majority of the sites are thought to relate to the agricultural and pastoral history of the area. |
