Abstract: |
A Level 1 standing building survey was carried out on 13 December 2018. A full photographic survey was carried out and architects plans and elevations were checked and annotated and extra elevations drawn. The main farmhouse and farmstead appear to have been built in one phase with the N wing built as a watermill and the remainder for other agricultural use. The buildings are in poor condition and certain areas were not accessible, but all buildings have been altered over the years for cattle/dairy use and some demolition has taken place. The bothy (Building 2) was constructed in Phase 1 between the dates of the First and Second OS maps. |
