Abstract: |
On 2nd November 2016 York Archaeological Trust commenced a watching brief on development at 23-24 Main Street, Heslington. During the work a cobble surface, a stone wall foundation and build up deposits were encountered. The stone wall foundation had post-medieval pottery associated with its construction cut. The results of the watching brief are of low archaeological importance. |
