Abstract:		 The work was undertaken for Northern Powergrid under an Area of Archaeological Importance Operations Notice (Operations Notice no. 17009). Standard York Archaeological Trust recording methodologies were used. The works involved the excavation and recording of any archaeological deposits or structures exposed by the ground works prior to the instalment of ducting for the cable to be pulled through post-backfill.
