Abstract: |
The report presents the results of a Historic Building Survey carried out at Auchincross Farm near New Cumnock, East Ayrshire which is part of the South Westerly Extension to the Wellhill Farm Working Area (Greenburn Surface Mine Complex). The work was carried out by CFA Archaeology Ltd (CFA) in December 2017. The work was commissioned by Kier Infrastructure and Overseas Ltd. A Written Scheme of Investigation (WSI) for the survey was approved the West of Scotland Archaeology Service (WoSAS). WoSAS required a Basic Standing Building Survey at Auchincross Farm prior to its demolition. |
