Abstract: |
Four trenches were excavated by Absolute Archaeology in accordance with a planning condition for development of a small area of land adjacent to the surviving buildings of a post-medieval farmstead, now in an urban street. No archaeological finds, features or deposits were revealed. In the NW part of the site was some surviving topsoil, but the remainder had been heavily disturbed by 20th century structures. |
