Abstract: |
An Archaeological Watching Brief was undertaken by Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd during ground-works associated with the construction of a new dwelling and garage on Land at the Old Pike House, Eckington, Worcestershire. The watching brief identified a ditch dating to the Romano-British period and two further, undated possible ditches. Remains of an undated probable 'fire pit' were also recorded. The remains confirmed previous evaluation results and excavation to the south of the site which evidenced Romano-British occupation in the area. |
