Abstract: |
This report presents the results of archaeological survey work carried out by the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England (RCHME) on approximately 1 square kilometre of this relict landscape at High Park - part of the Fairthwaite Park Farm estate in north-east Lancashire - plus an adjoining field belonging to Ciowrey Farm in Cumbria. The survey was undertaken for management purposes, largely at the request of Lancashire County Council Planning Department. |
