Abstract: |
Pre-Construct Archaeology Ltd (PCA) carried out an archaeological evaluation at New Cemetery, North Waltham, Basingstoke, Hampshire The evaluation comprised the excavation of 42 trenches measuring 30m x 1.8m, with the remains of an in situ urn, possibly an urned cremation burial, being identified. Also uncovered was three small pits, two with evidence of burning, and a possible ditch terminus |
